Pan Xiulian awarded the 14th "Chinese Young Women in Science Fellowship"

The 14th "Chinese Young Women in Science Fellowship" award ceremony took place in Beijing on 12 January. a total of 230 candidates were nominated by 112 organiztions and 25 experts this year. And 10 young women scientists were awarded, who come from 7 universities and 3 institutes in China, including Prof. Pan Xiulian from our gourp.


"Chinese Young Women in Science Fellowship", known as the "Nobel Prize" in Chinese women's scientific world, established in 2004 by China Women's Federation, China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese National Commission for UNESCO and L'Oreal (China). The award aims to recognize young women scientists and technicians who have achieved significant and innovative results in basic science and life sciences, to cultivate high-level scientific and technological innovation talents, and to inspire young women scientists and technicians to contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Prof. Pan Xiulian has engaged in the basic research on applications of energy conversion and catalysis, and she has achieved great progress in fundamental concepts of nano confinement catalysis and the field of direct conversion of syngas. Up to now, Prof. Pan Xiulian is the fourth young woman scientist to be given this honor in DICP. Prof. Yang Qihua, Prof. Chen Ping and Prof. Zhang Lihua were awarded the fifth, eighth and twelfth "Chinese Young Women in Science Fellowship" award.
