The 34th Annual Conference of the Chinese Chemical Society(CCS) was held in Guangzhou from June 15-18, 2024. CCS issued 7 Academic Awards since 2023 on the opening ceremony of the meeting. Prof. Feng Jiao was honored the Chinese Chemical Society Prize for Young Scientists for his achievements in direct catalytic conversion of syngas to light olefins.

The award of Chinese Chemical Society Prize for Young Scientists established in 1983, is the first academic award set up by the Chinese Chemical Society. The award is issued no more than 10 winners annually. Its aim is to encourage young chemists under 35 years old to work creatively, improvably and independently.
